Cifra Healthcare Platform
Secure eHealth, LLC has launched the Cifra™ healthcare platform to securely exchange and store medical information.
Cifra is a secure communication and storage software platform licensed to Secure eHealth that allows customers to securely store and share any type of digital file. The technology allows the originating user to specify document rights (viewing, editing, copying, printing, and commenting) for the recipient within the closed network design. This can be revoked or changed at any time even while a recipient is viewing the content on his own screen.
Using Cifra's secure viewer allows the sender to share virtually any file type with a recipient without that file ever being saved to the recipient's computer.
The Cifra platform is a vital tool in providing secure messaging and document delivery. Also of importance is its ability to provide both secure storage and backup. This outstanding level of security means that participants can collaborate and work together while maintaining stringent HIPAA mandated compliance and patient confidentiality.
Cifra's Secure Vault allows users to securely store documents encrypted on a secured server. Users can allow other Cifra users access to their vault files, assigning rights and duration control to each.
Cifra's Secure Chat allows users to communicate and share files securely in real-time.
Although Cifra's original implementation was within the WMT organization and physician community, Secure eHealth also has the rights to license the Cifra platform to vendors, partners and other health care community associates. In addition to Cifra, Secure eHealth also markets the Secure eHealth System Tray Notifier™, which will add the capability to send secure notification alerts to enrolled users. With this additional function, we will ensure a truly secure medical community for all participants, and intend to market this data management and document security protocol as a solution for online health record security concerns.
